Phone Bank is at the Overlook office building in southwest Austin near the Southwest Parkway turnoff from Mopac.  The address is 4330 South MoPac. While this is only 4 miles south of the river (just after the Loop 360 turnoff from MoPac), the directions for the last 1/4 mile are tricky.       FROM DOWNTOWN AUSTIN (shown in the map's RED PATH):       Take Mopac south just past Loop 360 (Capital of Texas Hwy).  Get in the RIGHT HAND lane and EXIT at the FRONTAGE ROAD exit sign just past the long Barton Creek bridge.  SLOW DOWN as you exit, because you will have to make an IMMEDIATE RIGHT TURN onto Gaines Ranch Loop (at the GAINES RANCH sign - next to the La Quinta hotel).       Following Gaines Loop until you have come almost full circle.  Make a LEFT TURN into the Overlook Office Building parking lot (there will be a small "ACC" sign pointing to the left directing you to turn).  You can park in the parking garage.  When you enter the building, look for the "ACC" sign on the FIRST FLOOR and follow the arrow down the hall.       If you miss either the "FRONTAGE ROAD" or "GAINES RANCH" turns, DO NOT TRY TO GET BACK TO THE RED PATH.  Instead, continue toward Southwest Parkway and loop under MoPac to get on the GREEN PATH, as described below.  This will be almost as quick. FROM U.S. 290 (shown in the map's GREEN PATH):       Get onto the Mopac access road going north, but STAY IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE.  Do not enter Mopac North.  Continue in the right hand lane until you reach the "TURNAROUND" that forces you to cross over MoPac on a bridge.  When you get on the bridge, stay in the RIGHT HAND LANE and drive STRAIGHT (do not bear to the left).       The Overlook Building is the FIRST RIGHT and you can park in the garage.  Look for the small "ACC" sign pointing to the right, just before you turn right.  When you enter the building, look for the "ACC" sign on the FIRST FLOOR and follow the arrow down the hall.       The map below gives another view of the area.  Send a message to Friends of ACC if you have any questions.     [Back to phone bank sessions page].
